Quit it with the self pity. You know you won't be unemployed or working minimum wage forever.

It's not self pity, it's an accurate assessment of the situation. Hopefully, it won't be the long term case, but I have made a lot of bad choices in early life that I'm paying for now. I'm just trying to do what I can right now so tomorrow might be better than yesterday.

Sell parts off your car to fund it.

I don't have the stock parts still. And it's kind of silly to buy them, sell them, to buy them again. :icon17:

If it wasn't for school severely cutting into my work hours, I would be able to afford tracking my car on my current salary.

There you go. You've put in your school time, and now you can look forward to bigger better paychecks.

I'm just now starting to pay my dues. :icon17:

I could have tracked my car from the money I made last summer if I didn't spend it on my exhaust, springs, intakes, and new tires.

No need to apologize. The discussion between you guys was good. Thats how we learn. Heck, I learned that my Hawk HP+ pads suck.

Oh by the way, it looks like the NASA sponsored Hyperdrive at Summit in June during "Hyperfest" do not require you be a member of NASA, which means the Hyperdrive is only $40 dollars per session. There are currently multiple sessions (20 minutes each) scheduled. You can sign up for as many as you want to pay for until all are filled. I'm going to go Saturday June 16th. https://nasaproracing.com/event/1466

I've ordered my Carbotech XP8's through Dustin@Z1 today. I'm not using them until after Zdayz, though.

Just whenever I go to Hyperfest or an HPDE.

I'll probably pick up a set for eventually when I start attending more regular HPDE 1 events. For Hyperdrives, the HP+ have been just fine.

Thanks, but that's too much for me, especially right now. At that price though Is rather pay a bit more and get a new set from z1 that's track ready.

Talked to Dustin at Z1 who also recommended the XP8's along with Motul brake fluid. Just gonna stick with that for now. One more question, will I be ok with my all season tires at one or maybe two hyperdrives this summer/fall. I will obviously be driving at a slower pace be ause of the tires, but this will be the most likely way I will be able to go before next year.
