Ive seen a few "watch for motorcycles" bumper stickers since and wanted to yell FVCK YOU out my window. Motorcycle riders a douches to begin with. There was an instance where a biker was on the line coming out of a turn and had to jerk his bike over to avoid hitting me, not the other way around. I was pissed! There's definitely some d-bags out there.

And I think somebody said there was a guy on a bicycle on the Dragon over the weekend :icon14:

:iagree:

We also encountered a dude on a road bicycle on Hellbender! Scary.

Last year we saw one on The Dragon. What an idiot.

Fvckin bicyclists are annoying!

Something near a race track would be great so we can have a track event too. This might be good alternative to not having any Tail of the Dragon type roads in the area.

There is an area in the middle of Ohio that has Mid Ohio racetrack and there are some AWZZZUM roads there as well. This is only an hour and a half from my house, BUT I WOULD STILL MAKE THE 10 HOUR DRIVE TO FONTANA.

Just my :twocents:.

If it were held in October, there could be perfect weather or :santasleigh2:

RandyD 05-24-2012 02:08 PM

yep - thought that bicycle was gonna bite one of our fenders on Hellbender.. fool

Alchemy 05-24-2012 02:14 PM

I have vid of the cyclists on Hellbender also video of a biker jerking his bike back into his lane as I hit the brakes pretty hard to avoid killing him. Its really amazing how dangerous it is to drive around there. I really feel lucky to be alive or at least not harmed. Amazing roads and views but my a-hole was puckered the whole time.

On the road to Robbinsville we saw a fat guy (300lbs+) on a scooter holding up traffic. He was going downhill at least. When Juno saw him the day before he was going uphill.

No biggie. It'll clean right up when I have the time. My problem is that I thought my S2000 was at my apartment, so I was planning on driving it all this week. Turns out it is at my parents' house, so I had to drive the 5.0. I thought the decals would peel right off, but they didn't. Should have just left them on for now. :rofl2:

The problem is I have to park it on the other side of the apartment complex. I never see it so I always forget about it.

It's so much fun but at this point it's just a waste. :shakes head:

Might take it to CarMax this weekend for ***** and giggles. :icon17:

Yeah, I def need to go back after blowing an exhaust gasket this year and not being able to drive as much or as hard as I wanted.

Yet you still got a "performance award" from the local leos.

Triple Digits on the dragon?! Um, good luck. What are you driving, an Ariel Atom v8?

it is doable if you don't give a crap about oncoming traffic. there are two long straights in particular that you can really get cooking.

You know them, because that's where the police are usually sitting.

I know I hit a good 80 or so without driving crazy hard. Triple digits are doable, I think.

Funny thing is Dan, they caught me coming out of a corner:stirthepot:

when did you get busted?

shadoquad 05-24-2012 05:19 PM

Dan, I know you're still upset that you couldn't keep up with me on the dragon. Every time we turned, I heard your tires chirping from behind me (over the sound of Steve's jibber-jabber). And you didn't have quite enough power to keep up in the straights. It's ok. I only waited 15 minutes at Deal's Gap for you guys.

:D

Sat, of course. I like to think of it as "congratulated" not "busted"
