Wheel repair in Maryland/DC area?

I picked up a 370z from Tate Dodge in Glen Burnie yesterday for a really good deal due to cosmetic damage on all 4 wheels and a few scratches here and there. I searched the mid-atlantic forum looking for a wheel repair place but no particular shop was mentioned. Does anyone have experience with any shops in the local area? Some of the shops I've found on the internet include:

AWRS Wheel Repair

I am looking to get a set of factory 2009 19" sport wheels restored. The wheels look to be round but every one has a little curb rash and minor scratches. Here's what I'm looking for in the job:
-dismount the tires from the wheels
- check all 4 wheels for trueness, straightness, and runoff and fix if needed
- repair the blemishes (including any wheel rash, bends if any, scratches, makrings etc...)
- refinish the alloys in the factory color
- clearcoat, buff, and make the wheels essentially new again
- if possible mount and road force balance the tires back on the wheels

Does anyone have any recommendations?

If its expensive to repair, I'd just buy a brand new set, maybe even aftermarket.. weigh the costs. repair vs. new, just a thought.

start googling those shops. I did the first one and it came up with a bunch of other forums talking about some of the shops you listed. judging by just the few threads I read ye old wheel shop has poor customer service and takes a long time to fix the wheels. Also call them up and get some pricing estimates that will influence your final decision as well I would assume.

If I could find a used set in the md/dc area of factory wheels with tires I would do that and then sell the rashed set to someone to use as trackday wheels.

They usually go for around $800-1000 for a set. I don't know how much it costs to fix the damaged wheels, but I hope its a lot less than that.

Check the For Sale section, I see 19"" Rays OEM all the time for sale there. GL.

I have a stock set of 18's with tires mounted no damage. Only 2800 miles on them. Not sure if your interested.

Is it just me, but I find new sets of 19's on eBay all the time for a lot less than $800 to $1000, minus the tires.. I'd say at least take a look.

Had 2 instances of curb rash repaired w/ AWRS (awful, I know...). Each time costed $150, which seems a little steep, BUT they looked and still look like brand new. The dude's real quick, and travels between dealerships in NOVA and MD, so call ahead and he'll probably be near you at some point during the week.

$150 is not bad, I guess. It beats buying a brand new rim.

lucky that you were quoted $150.. I've been to 3 shops already and the quote is always $180-$200 for the same repair.. my friend told me that I could get as low as $100 for it in 101 body shop.. but it is in Aurora Ave N Seattle. problem is less feedback about it and I only see some info about it on Washington auto repair.
