Figure 8 loop around Frederick 65 miles There are twists, turns and good straight-aways on this route. The roads are all asphalt which are fairly well maintained. Link to map: Libertytown, 8, Liberty, MD to Libertytown, 8, Liberty, MD - Google Maps Frederick County Rt 17 30 miles This route can be linked to the route above for a really good drive. Either direction traveled will be satisfying. This scenic route will take you through several small towns ( One of these small towns is Burkittsville, MD - home of 'the Blair Witch) providing where you can stop for food or gas. The road has sweeping turns and straightaways as well as limited stop signs and various speed limits allow for a fun drive.
