Just got back from the dealership. They charged me $22 for the filter + oil change with tax. I ended up getting another quart of oil from walmart before I went there just in case. They used a tiny bit of that last quart and I have it back for future oil changes. So my total was $37 (oil) + $22 (filter+change) = $59. Not bad and I have that oil for future use so it should cost only $52 next time!

Also I talked to one of the service advisers and he said they were cool with mods.

Timonium nissan told me around $160 for 'premium' oil change, and $180 for ester based oil change.

And you wonder why I never go there, and do oil changes myself.

Wow that is such a rip off. You should go to Sheehy Nissan in Glen Burnie. It's not too far from you and it will save you $100 on oil changes

I did my 1st oil change a couple months ago, it wasnt very hard at all. I actually enjoyed it too, after taking off the engine/ splash guard, you get to see the engine, the Z is an amzing machine. Very well built.
