That would be awesome! Thanks

I'll let you know once I finally decide what I'm doing. I know my cousin wanted to go with me to the OC Car Show, but I'll ask him if he wants to go AutoX instead.

Our cars run almost the same time/mph in the 1/4mi......we'll see how it stacks up at the autox :).

Yours will probably be better just based on the driver :icon17:

What mods do you have on your car? I just have the rear spoiler on mine and two all season tires in the rear. Other than that it's all stock.

Mike;

Your instruction last session really paid off. Even Luna was impressed with the difference.

I finally understand what you mean… I was spinning the hell out of my inside tire on that course.

You were pretty far up on the list of results the last time I looked. It took me until the last run to get past you in the stock G35......the tires were 540tw :shakes head:. I couldn't get the damn thing to turn at all.

Mods on my car for blades...you'll hear my car long before you see it. It's the loudest Z you have probably ever heard. This list is a up to date for now, but there are going to be some more changes in the coming months. Shocks are going back for another revalve.....will just have koni yellows on front for this event. Also going to bump spring rates up a bit more and go back to a smaller front bar.

Stoptech Stainless Brake Lines

Very "Stock.....ish" I see :icon17:

In terms of power mods....it is. I have less than 2k in "performance" mods on my car including the tune. The suspension/brake stuff....no comment on expense. On top of that....the tires are the real expense.

:icon18:

Suspension would make more of a difference in AutoX though.

It's been dead in the water since the last scca event. I plan to have it running next weekend. Looks the same as it did in March for this picture lol.....one of my street tires somehow got a bubble in the sidewall, and needs to be replaced. So, it is resting on hoo's in the garage....

I'm getting excited just thinking about it. My car's not track ready yet, but this should still be fun :)

Ran the annual Cumberland "long" course today. Hit 86mph. Scrapped it out with Mike M in a BSP STI. My final run would have just clipped him, but I coned it. Not bad since that car weighs the same and has 80 less hp. The clean run I logged was good for 9th overall (3 Reynards, 1 D-mod, 3 of the 14 cobras and smooth Jim in his ASP vette) and 6th in PAX. Dirty run would have been 7th overall and 2nd or 3rd in PAX. I just didn't have the horsepower to hang with the few cars ahead of me. Enjoy my classy response

Hahaha, that little shriek at the end was hilarious. :icon17:

Just sent in my registration for the event this Saturday. Watching the video makes me feel like I will be lost in a sea of cones trying to figure out where I have to go. I don't have a helmet and probably won't be buying one anytime soon, do they have any there that they let you borrow/rent?

03threefiftyz 06-07-2011 09:04 AM

They have helmets to use.

b1adesofcha0s 06-07-2011 10:09 AM

Ok looks like I'm good then. Anything else I need to know for my first day?
