I wear many hats.

Im the program manager in charge of the IT tech support for a goverment agency. (lets just say it handles those nuisance spam calls that you get at dinner or anytime during the day) Im in charge of about 19 guys, and if those idiots cant figure out a problem, they go to me.

I am also tech support for the lead attorneys who may go overseas (so i will get calls at 2 or 3 in the morning) ,or, those who dont want to d!ck around with the call center and need an issue fixed immediately

Then for my contracting company, believe it or not, my oh so friendly face can goes to potential clients and bids for their work. I know what some of you may be thinking.....


But most of the time im sitting here at home, on the forums, or sleeping in until I am needed. Its nice being able to work from home.

edit: basically I do about 2 hours of, true, dedicated, work, in a week. (quote from office space)

Not really, my call center filters those for the most part. I get the occasional "I dont see anythign on my screen....oh I should power it on first?" but its limited.

Ill say this, they couldnt pay me what I SHOULD be getting paid, I get paid a LOT less than what I should be, so they let me work from home. They also agreed that I could take off whenever I wanted, basically endless vacation hours, but the personal time will continue to accrue on their end. So when I leave this god forsaken company ill have over a thousand vacation hours that they can pay me in one lump check.

Its pretty cool waking up and playing some Skyrim for hours on end!

So I was just walking through the parking lot with my co-worker and we saw a couple of graduate students admiring my car. (I work at a university)

We overheard them - the girl looks to the guy and says "see when you're a professor you can get a nice car like that too!"

My coworker and I immediately start laughing and they look at us all confused. Had to explain to them that I was the owner of that car and that I was no professor. They both had the WTF look on their face lol.

Reminds me when Shahid first spotted my car on campus - he thought the car belonged to one of his Chem Eng. professors.
