I haven't had any work at any of these places but they were recommendations from the 350z forum:

Elite Imortz
3248 Ft. Meade Rd
Laurel MD 20724
(301) 604-5004

Hills Garage
4700 Belle Grove Rd Unit 15
Baltimore MD 21225
(410) 636-5554

Frank Hill seems like a busy guy, so not sure how hard it is to have him do it, however the 350z guys all love this dude more than their girlfriends! ;-)

GM_Traitor3.5 11-02-2010 03:22 PM

Awesome. Thanks guys, really appreciate it!

Ye Old Wheel Shop in Elkridge. Did both of my wife's BMW wheels this year...

Good service and fair prices.

GM_Traitor3.5 11-03-2010 08:25 AM

Well, AAM got back to me and here's what they can do for the ole blue bus:

True Cold Air Intake (or short ram)
Larger diameter throttle body
Headers
Y-Pipe
High-flow cats
Full T304 Stainless Exhaust

Quite interested in the intake side of things first... then maybe an exhaust (Borla most likely).

I don't know if it's different for the max, but I'd recommend a true CAI over short ram. But that's just, like, my opinion, man.

Yeah, the true CAI setup is definitely the way to go. The short-ram design only gives you more noise, not more HP. With how much heat these VQ engines put out, a true CAI system is the best way to go.

GM_Traitor3.5 11-04-2010 08:04 AM

Looks like the Borla system will knock another 3 tenths off my 1/4 mile times. Another guy on my forum is a 1/4 mile fan and has run his car a few times stock, then with mods.

This should put me in consistent 13.6's next year

Head count for this Saturday? FALL IN!

It's not even going to be below freezing. Don't be a nanny.

If it gets too cold we'd just go inside anyways.

He might be late to the meet. After all, he's getting a "3" and a "Goodwrench" logo painted on it. :bowrofl:

I knew you'd call me out on that. But, imo, it's even more redneck to paint earnhardt logos on a non-chevy.

I'm definitely game. My absence from playing during the summer is now over, so it's time to hit the fields again.

P.S. I've been playing for 14 years. Bring the noise. :stirthepot:

Won't be bringing any noise. Just Angels.

Can you say Overshooting? I know you can...

Well, my PM7-UL doesn't really make any noise... but you get the point

And yes, I speak overshooting quite well. 17bps on semi-auto is addictive :happydance:

17? I was hitting 22-24 pretty reliably last time I was out. and that was on my old Joy G7...

Not to mention the amount of paint we will be going through...

I guess I can bring the Shocker NXT as a backup for my backup Angel One...

You were hitting 22-24bps in straight semi-auto? Good lord, your debounce and trigger sensitivity settings have gotta be ridiculous, or just really quick fingers hahaha. If we agree on going to Warplay, you can run any mode (PSP, burst, full-auto) which is fun, but you burn through paint WAYYYY too quickly.

I say we need to make this happen. I think this group would have a blast (no pun intended) on the field.
