If anyone is interested in a nice long cruise out to Shenandoah we can run out to Sperryville to pick up some good 'ole Virginia apple butter and honey and run the northern section of Skyline Drive up to Front Royal. Not this weekend but maybe another time. It's always a nice drive. |

The drive out to Shenandoah is nice. You can either roll out on 66 and enter Skyline Drive in Front Royal, then drive south and get off on 211 in Sperryville, stop for the delicious homemade foodstuffs, and then take 211 all the way to 29 north in Warrenton and head back. Reverse the route if you want to run Skyline heading north. |
y0 Steve.....I'm sure we can work something out with my OEM spoiler. We can discuss it this weekend.
|
Haha -- I will only accept it if it's free!!! Honestly, I have no idea what i'd do with it. Maybe put it on the roof to take some gag photos.

That's awesome, the car is going to look pretty sweet!
I am going to do some cosmetic things myself. Going to see if I can accelerate plans and get as much as I can done before Z days. Gonna have to make a trip to the powdercoater! |

1. powdercoat brakes blue 2. tint windows |
I don't know how the blue calipers would look (maybe too much blue?), but I definitely think you should get your windows tinted. Even if you only do the legal limit (50% in VA) it will look better than stock and totally change the look of the car with the windows up.
You've seen mine... it's 38%. Me, I'm planning on powder coating the wheels gloss black (possibly with a thin solid red time attack stripe) and having the headlight housings done in a flat/satin black. I'll also need to take care of the silver door handles, which will probably be painted solid red to match the body color. That'll be good to start! |
Yeah, Lou Fusz keeps bugging me to get my windows tinted. :icon17: I'll have to check out the cars again Saturday. I've never really considered it but I'll give a good look.

Two words:
Racing stripes. Adds 25 HP. TO THE WHEELS! You guys are forcing me to start considering at least a pair of sway bars. I hate the mod bug. That and other bugs but I digress. |

Dog fish head??? lame.. sweetwater is better. (my sister used to work there so im biased lol).
they're both good. either way, it would be nice to drive around a little bit. [edit] Alright I'm pissed because my friend said he didn't want to drink at a "splash center"...the Sweetwater I'm referring to is a restaurant that is in Centreville (thers also one in Fairfax (best one) and Sterling). If anyone has eaten at one of their chain resaurants (which are all good) than you have lived a good life. |

Went to the Sweetwater in Centreville two weeks ago. Man, that was some good stuff. I will definitely be going back again.
|
I would agree with window tinting....have my appointment for next week. Let the mods begin!
:happydance: |
I think the weather is supposed to be nice tomorrow but judging by what we are getting right now you would think otherwise.
Good lord it was coming down. |
