I'm ok with missing the GB since I don't drink anyway. I guess I can just meet up with Robert at some other time while he's home. I live like 15 mins away from him so it shouldn't be too hard. I can probably do it in the afternoon, but I will be busy at night.

m4a1mustang 07-12-2011 10:45 AM

We usually start them pretty early for dinner, so I'm sure you'd be able to stop by at least in the beginning.

ZCarMan 07-12-2011 12:41 PM

Oh man, Oktoberfest beer from GB. Mmmmm.

Could you give me a rough idea of what time that would be? I have to go to a wedding around 7-8 ish but people are always rolling in late. Would need some time to go home and get ready though.

I don't know which piece you're speaking of, but you may be able to find it on this site:

thanks Al, but i'm having problem figuring out the name of this part ... also i've been on that site, and still can't figure out where it is... i'll try and find a picture to better clarify... thanks again for your help :)

b1adesofcha0s 07-12-2011 01:59 PM

Try sending a PM to FBNISSAN, he can probably figure out what part you're talking about and give you a good price for it. You could always try ordering it from a dealership.

hazzazi 07-12-2011 02:09 PM

Found it

got the pictures off another member (hope he doesn't mind)..

anyways this is the piece i want, anyone know where i could get it from??

Just look at my previous post. FBNISSAN on the forum or try your local Nissan dealership.

already called local nissan, they couldn't figure it out... and wanted me to bring in the car.. i'd rather buy it online (probably cheaper), plus i'd like to know what it's called instead of trying to describe it.

shadoquad 07-12-2011 02:37 PM

Amar, it looks like what you're describing is a rectangular piece attached to part 74811 in this diagram:

http://www.courtesyparts.com/images/z34/z34_747-1.gif

I couldn't see a separate listing for it, so it may come as a piece of that part, which is called "Cover-engine, lower". The part is listed here for $109 ordered, but you may want to ask around about that part. Maybe pm FuszNissan or FBNissan about the part itself to determine if that is the exterior part, and if the rectangle is a part of it.

b1adesofcha0s 07-12-2011 04:34 PM

Glad you found it! I don't think it really matters if it's scratched up, it's underneath the car anyway :icon17:

it's a little bent too.. it's suppose to be an aerodynamic piece.. so it sort of matters. (not much tho)

anyways, thanks

Get some Krylon spray paint and those scratches will be gone.

If it's metal I would use rustoleum flat black, if it's plastic use the Krylon. Goog luck.

It will sound even beefier with some intakes. :stirthepot:

Don't worry, those are coming eventually. Would be sooner if I didn't have to buy some damn tires :icon17:

G3's are my next performance mod. Will do HFC's last because the hiss is more noticeable from them. After that will be some brake/suspension stuff and an oil cooler.

m4a1mustang 07-13-2011 08:32 AM

Just keep in mind that once you add HFCs to your Intake/CBE combo you will need to get a tune.

birdmanx1 07-13-2011 08:33 AM

Great work with the vid Shahid. Sounds and looks great

Yes I know, one of the many things I have learned from my time in here.

Bertaut, you may want to look into getting a tune as well after you get your Motordyne intake manifold installed.

Did do donuts, but didn't get a video of it only some photos. Don't have them though as they are still in my cousin's camera.

Correct Shahid, that's the plan, Frank Wilson will start the airbrush work on the M370 next week; then I will have Frank Hills do the install or beg Kirk to hook a brother up!!! :D

I'm sure Kirk will be ok with helping you install it. If he does, I live down the street from him so I can come help/hang out too
