I don't think I'll ever go FI again. No matter how well it goes, you always wind up disappointed.

I guess if the car comes factory with FI, not that big of a deal. But turning a stock N/A motor into TT or SC setup has got to pose some challenges.

Personally, I've always liked N/A motors the best. Power delivery is much more linear.

You gonna make it up to Fairfax for the meet this weekend?

Yeah, I'll probably stay NA with the Z. FI means real power gains, but i'm a puss.

Good deal man. Should be in the 50's... just wish the weather on Friday would continue into the weekend

So, now that we're never meeting in VA again (bcuz we all like to coast through right turns on red), where is this weekend's MD meet? :stirthepot:

Look, it's fairly well agreed that it's better to drive in MD. We're takin' over. It's time for my dream of west Baltimore meets to start up. Everyone remember their kevlar vests.

That is a bold statement! Everyone knows that MD is home to some of the craziest drivers in the USA. (cough *Hoser cough...)

All kidding aside, when I'm driving home from a long road trip, I don't feel truly at home until crossing into MD, where I'll be going 10 over the speed limit while getting my doors blown off on either side and being tailgated. Good times!

Now that we've turned into the Mid-A gun-owners club, we all have to stay south of that border.

lol and you think MD is dangerous. Every time I show up to FFX, I fear for my life, because VA Z owners could very well be packing. Especially ones which owe me a beating, like certain owners of Mustangs and silver Z's. In MD, we can't legally carry, so it's much safer ().

But in FFX, you don't need a flak jacket to step out of your car :stirthepot:

Oh, I think you do, considering that you all can carry. In MD, thankfully, only our criminals can easily gain access to guns. :roflpuke2:

It's only a matter of time until the starbucks lot becomes a war zone.

Criminal with a firearm = more dangerous than a civilian white collar feller with a gun :roflpuke2:

Let's agree to disagree. Or disagree to agree...

Don't forget being flipped off for driving too slow. That is my favorite thing about being back in MD...

Chantilly Gun Show was just last weekend. I find that the weak are usually scared, but its the strong that keeps the weak alive. Interesting paradox, buy more guns and don't forget the bullets :tiphat:

shadoquad 02-16-2011 08:53 PM

Man, yous Virginians did not pick up on the sarcasm. "we're safer because only our criminals carry guns?" lol come on guys. :rofl2:

Sscottfitz 02-16-2011 09:06 PM

OK, back on the topic of this weekend - looks like the weather will be OK, but not as nice as tomorrow & Friday. Only recommendation I have for THIS Sat is that we break for lunch (for those doing the lunch thingee) a little early as this is a Daytona weekend and there is a Busch race Sat afternoon........just a recommendation...

OBTW, I got my Fobus Paddle holster this weekend for my PX4 Storm 9MM (SC) -- fits very nice, very light weight

ALSO got by GoPro today, so now I gotta figure out how to get it set up and operational -- might have to lean on Mustang as the group expert!

Dual 150's are tomorrow (Daytona Quals for the uninformed) - gentlemen, start yer engines......:driving:
