Just got a call back from my supplier.

$588.75 for the following if we want.

10 pounds of super collossal red King crab legs

5 pounds of Alaskan large spot shrimp

Susan and I also have amazing sweet corn we could bring since it's the season for it here right now. Let me know and I'll place the order.

Ok. Need another LARGE pot too.

Rusty 08-10-2021 02:36 PM

It was brought to my attention that some might like steaks, burgers, and dogs. So here's a poll.

1. Seafood Boil. Crab, shrimp, etc.

2. Steaks, burgers, hot dogs.

Leingod 08-10-2021 02:38 PM

Option 1 for Susan and I please.

Option 1 for Lisa

Option 2 for me.

That being said, if there isn't enough interest in Option 2, I'll figure it out.

I was still planning on cooking some burgers with #1 just because I know some don't like the boil.

Seafood boil is good by me but I’ll have whatever is served…not a picky eater. TY.

sorry late to the party, but then again... out in the wild next couple of weeks....
I like trying new things, so I would go with 1
:tiphat:

Leingod 08-13-2021 09:11 AM

I took Thurs and Fri off. Susan got Fri off. So we will either arrive wicked late Thurs or afternoonish Fri.

If we decide to go the seafood route, i'll order it around the 23rd. Should only take 2 days or overnight for arrival. It can be frozen until day of the event. I also plan to load up on some NYS corn and salt potatoes. Deep dish and Kuba Kuba's will be on hand alongside some local beers. If you guys need/want anything else, just let me know.

Rusty, let me know when you are planning to return from AK. I need to ship out some car parts for a few people attending plus a little just-in-case gift for the cruise. Don't want the package sitting at the house if no one's home.

Hey Rusty, where are you in AK, currently in Fairbanks, headed to Kenai on Monday not that we will cross paths, but who knows

He's on a cruise ship, so I'm guessing you won't run into him near Fairbanks. Keep an eye out on the south horizon and you might see his ship in the distance from the park lol

I'm in sucky Seattle right now. Getting on a cruise ship tomorrow.

Rusty 08-13-2021 05:30 PM

There was $550 donated towards Saturday dinner. With the responses I got. It was about even. Will everything going go. I think the steaks would be easier and faster to cook. When I get back home. I can pick up the steaks and some extras. Next question. How many steaks do I need to get? After tomorrow. I may not be able to reply.

Not sure if we are getting in Thursday or Friday. Sometime we'll get there:rofl2:
