Dying to go on vacation. September can't come fast enough.
Burning a week vacation for Madwi’s in June & another week for Rusty’s in September :ugh2:
Hopefully saving my other 2-weeks for tuning the Z by November :iagree: |
Anybody been to Pocono for roll racing?
Been there years ago doing trackdays with a bike. Don't know what they do now.
Wifey, Mia, and me drove the routes I want to take you guys on. Saturday's route is the same as last year, but in reverse. Stop at Ohio Pyle Falls for a break. Then if you guys are hungry. We can stop at The Stonehouse Inn for BBQ. For sighting. There Falling Water (need reservations), and Fort Necessity. This is about 70 to 75 miles depending if we want to go and get BBQ and Fort Necessity. The fort, I helped to restore cabin there inside the fort. Those logs are f@#kin' HEAVY. we carried them by hand. Everything was done like they would have done it back then.
Sunday's route will take us down RT88 to Point Marion along the river. Then back up the river on the other side on RT166. This about 60 miles. |
Lets do the BBQ.
I'm game
I'm always up for good BBQ... :yum:

Plane tickets bought, we are going to fly in on Sept 1 and fly out on Sept 7. The plan is to stay in the Pittsburgh area until the 3rd, then drive down to Rusty's. Then stay in the Pittsburgh area on the 6th to leave on the 7th. I reserved a Malibu-sized car, lets see how bad I can thrash it keeping up with ya'll.... :yum:
I’m game for any food :yum:
