Snatch and grab.

Lein will bring JB Weld to ensure everything is fixed for your return journey!

Dying to go on vacation. September can't come fast enough.

jchammond 04-19-2021 01:48 AM

Burning a week vacation for Madwi’s in June & another week for Rusty’s in September :ugh2:
Hopefully saving my other 2-weeks for tuning the Z by November :iagree:

Spooler 04-23-2021 07:47 PM

Anybody been to Pocono for roll racing?

Rusty 04-23-2021 08:21 PM

Been there years ago doing trackdays with a bike. Don't know what they do now.

Rusty 05-02-2021 04:52 PM

Wifey, Mia, and me drove the routes I want to take you guys on. Saturday's route is the same as last year, but in reverse. Stop at Ohio Pyle Falls for a break. Then if you guys are hungry. We can stop at The Stonehouse Inn for BBQ. For sighting. There Falling Water (need reservations), and Fort Necessity. This is about 70 to 75 miles depending if we want to go and get BBQ and Fort Necessity. The fort, I helped to restore cabin there inside the fort. Those logs are f@#kin' HEAVY. we carried them by hand. Everything was done like they would have done it back then.

Sunday's route will take us down RT88 to Point Marion along the river. Then back up the river on the other side on RT166. This about 60 miles.

madwi 05-02-2021 05:35 PM

Lets do the BBQ.

Leingod 05-02-2021 07:34 PM

I'm game

Ghostvette 05-03-2021 08:05 AM

I'm always up for good BBQ... :yum:

Ghostvette 06-25-2021 02:09 PM

Plane tickets bought, we are going to fly in on Sept 1 and fly out on Sept 7. The plan is to stay in the Pittsburgh area until the 3rd, then drive down to Rusty's. Then stay in the Pittsburgh area on the 6th to leave on the 7th. I reserved a Malibu-sized car, lets see how bad I can thrash it keeping up with ya'll.... :yum:

jchammond 06-26-2021 04:36 AM

I’m game for any food :yum:
Should be rolling in Thursday afternoon & leaving for home Monday morning :driving:

Yup! I'm totally down for that. I even have a bottle of the limited edition Old Bay hot sauce I can bring. Can bring a bag of salt potatoes too. And we have wicked fresh corn on the cob that'll be ready right when the trip begins. What kind of seafood are we thinking?

Dungeonness or king crab legs?
Argentinian shrimp?
Crawfish?
Mussels or clams?
Usually have some pollock or haddock in it.

eastwest2300 07-11-2021 05:46 PM

can I come?

Any place around there to get swordfish?

I'll eat crab legs and maybe the pollock & haddock, it depends on how fishy it smells.

Shrimp, crawdad & clams :barf:

Yup. Arrive whenever. I think we plan to get in late Thursday night. Some of the others will be getting sporadically throughout Friday. It's usually our drink and relax day. Then we do a fun run on Sat and explore the area. Another fun run on Sunday morning. Some will leave afterwards and others will peace out Monday morning.

For the Saturday dinner seafood boil. That's going to cost a few bucks. Thinking on some donations for it.

Shrimp, sausage, corn, potatoes, carrots, onions, crab legs, old bay.

For those who don't like that, burgers and hot dogs.

Breakfast, wifey is making her breakfast casserole with green chili.

For donations. You can paypal me at russandler@yahoo.com.

We are looking at about $270-$300 for 10 lbs of king crab legs. Looking at an additional $50-75 for about 5 pounds of red argentinian shrimp. I'm trying to source out some crawfish as well.

I'll send some nickles for the feast later today :yum:

Let Josh and Megan or some other couple take the room. I'm good bacheloring it up at the Hotel
