    You can measure the inside diameter of the turbine outlet. I believe that this was a random, isolated case.

    Loosen the v-band on the tail end of the downpipe and seat the turbo side first. That seal can be a bitch to get right. I dropped my downpipe a few months ago and I have gotten it seated correctly...
