So it turns out that I do have the prewiring. I've connected the plug into the wiring, but it doesn't work, what else do I need to do?

Man I'm have very little experience with electrical wiring and splicing. I have not looked at my dummy fog light, but I read that the 2010 models have prewiring for the fog light, so I can just plug and play, is that accurate with your experience?

Hey buddy, I'm going to install the rear fog light and was curious to know if the wiring from the stock bulb on the fog light long enough to reach the license plate lights without adding additional wires. Thanks.
