Why didn't you leave the cover in place? It would have been a good security feature to cover the nav when the car is parked. It would have also kept the clean look of the stock interior. Cool Nav though!

the Navi is flush with the rest of the instruments and the dash... also if I left the stock cover in place I would not have been able to see the Navigation unit, thus severely interfering with the purpose of the navigation unit (seeing where it is I want to go)

Was it hard to install the unit? also how it mounted.

^^ Plexiglas frame, wrapped in leather... the frame uses the stock holes and latch from the cover and then the GPS is urethaned into the frame from the back...

the power cord is then run behind everything to the cigarette lighter on the passenger side and the lighter is tucked away so it doesn't get kicked.

cost without GPS ~$10 and looks even better in person =)
