    One thing to realize about the EDFC ACTIVE is that it is not plug and play. It requires tuning. The stock settings upset the balance of my Z to the point I almost lost control. The stock settings have very gross adjustments and our Zs need fine adjustments. I’m still playing with it but I don’t get a lot of time to drive my Z due to my job. I only get to drive my car 3-4 months out of the year. The EDFC ACTIVE has a lot of potential but you have to be willing to tune it. That being said I would get the EDFC ACTIVE PRO over the other EDFC systems even if you only plan on making manual adjustments. The PRO version has a lot more capabilities than the other systems. One negative thing I have to say about EDFC ACTIVE is the GPS for it sucks. It is not responsive enough to be useful hence why I recommend the PRO version which has speed input directly from the car. Also the PRO version has the ability to wire in 2 remote preset switches which I’m very interested in.

    I have no experience with Airrex but I did take a quick look at their web site. Even if their air suspension is track worthy I would be wary of the added weight due to the air compressor, air tank and associated equipment. Just my

    I have the Flex not the Mono Flex. When I ordered mine back in 2013 the Flex and Mono Flex were the only real options. Looks like the Mono Flex has been discontinued (replaced with the Mono Sport) and the Flex might be on its way out too, if not already. Tein is changing their whole line up so I'm not 100% sure what is actually available right now for the 370Z.

    The reason I went with the Flex over the Mono Flex was due to the Flex kit comes with softer rear springs. I have a Quaife diff and Quaife diffs like softer rear suspension. If the rear is too stiff a Quaife diff will cause the car to over steer as bad as a 911. Flex comes with 14K front and 12K rear springs. Mono Flex came with 14K front and rear springs.

    I love my Tein Flex coilovers. The softest setting feels close to OEM but more responsive. Very livable for DD and long distance IMO. The stiffest setting is track worthy but not so stiff that it is unbearable on public roads IMO. After making a few adjustments to my rear sway bar it works very well with my Quaife diff, even on the stiffest setting.

    I have the non-PRO version of the EDFC ACTIVE and I like it. I plan taking advantage of Tein’s upgrade program and upgrade my system to the PRO version.

    Hi - if you don't mind my asking, how do you like the Tein Flex with the EDFC?

    Are these the Mono Flex?

    I've narrowed my choice down to the Tein Mono Sport with some level of EDFC - Active maybe?

    But then I started looking at Airrex...which also seems to be good quality and they say it's track worthy...???
