Tried to replace the stillen g3 filters with these dryflows as recommended by stillen; however, the filters are not the same width and a support bar did not fit back after replacing the filters. So, I am returning these dryflow filters and just cleaning/oiling the k&n that came with the g3. It may be possible to not reinstall the support and therefore have the required clearance, but I didn't want to leave the support out.

comparison shot of the two filters. you can see how the k&n is much more uniform width and doesn't bulge as much as the aem at the bottom.

They seem to fit fine without the support bar in the way, but i did not want to remove it so these filters will have to go back.

you can see a little here the support bar will not fit back due to the width of the bottom of the filter.
