So did you do the lights already, how'd it turn out? Yes I think you can do it without sanding, but probably risk it chipping off easier...and Yes fangs come w/ tape already attached, you just peel protective sheet off and place on....I haven't gotten mine yet so not sure.

I suppose you can leave them on and do a real good tape job...I pulled them off also, didn't want to risks spraying the car. The normal tail lights aren't that hard to get off, it's just a process, but very easy as I've done it a couple times now when I wanted to make the lights darker. Look in the DIY for fog light install for how to do this. The 3rd break light on the other hand is a B$%$ and I gave up on it, and left unpainted.....Sanding the gloss off the red first helps the paint to stick easier.

Lol I painted the fangs myself....the carbon fiber one's I'm waiting on...those go over the stock fangs with 3M tape I believe. The lights were super easy....just search online for tinting tailights, I believe someone on here did a DIY in their journal also. Basically you sand them first, clean w/ alcohol, spray 3-6 coats of tint to your darkness preference, sand w/ 1500 grit paper, clear coat 3-4 coats, sand w/ 2000 grit paper, buff.
