Mike, I think there are better options these days. The new Haltech dash is substantially improved over the IQ3
My car is stripped as a race car so I have now moved to full Motec M150 ECU and a CDL logger dash but that is absolutely premium in terms of cost.
The Haltech iC-7 Dash can connect via OBDII as well as Haltech ECU's.
I'd recommend this dash over an IQ3

I reckon you will be able to get someone to print you a panel to sit in front of the factory dash as removing the factory dash in a road car is going to cause problems I suspect.
