I don't know why it would not mount. People put oem Nismo exhaust on non Nismo Z's all the time. I think the Nismos have a different clearance issue around the rear sway bar or differential area....

see if you can find a stock g37 muffler. its a bolt on and will procured a better exhaust note as it got grandfathered in before Japan changed the noise requirements. I sold mine to a Z owner for $50...
