Get an automatic and save yourself the headache. People might not like it, but the auto is superior to the stick in pretty much every way. To boot, you can drive it like a stick any time you want.

Center console. I just ran it from a usb charger to the aux port. there really wasn't a way to tuck it. The cord is the perfect length to plug it in with the usb i had.
