Most aftermarket hoods I've seen don't have an OE fit. Gaps, corners sticking up too high, etc. I think I'd much rather modify a stock hood than pay for a new hood, plus shipping, removal, paint,...

this is just too much. 500whp is going to require $k's in support mods, including at least $1200 in ecu and fuel tuning stuff especially if you are going to pass carb which with 500whp you won't you...
