i would use the mat instead if fabric. the crisscros randomness of the strands tends to be better for strength. when u mix ur resin i would use minimal MEK it will harden slower but wont get as hot...

the tricky part is gonna be keeping it from cracking. once you get the bumper cut to fit the fangs there is many different types of industrial adhesive you can use to atach.. being that u have done...
