Changed over to LS3 knock sensors, deleted the Gen 3 in the valley. New valley cover plate on its way. Swapped over to gen 4 front timing cover and 4x timing gear with the appropriate cam position...

Gotta love that New England rust! And this car barely ever sees a winter road The sleeve is supposed to slide up off the shaft. Rented a puller from oreillys… and it bent the thick a*s washer...

New king main bearings and new cam bearings installed today. Gen 4 crank dropped into the 5.3 block. Gen 4 rods with new oem style pistons will get assembled tomorrow.
