Lower part of the bumper . if you have a small wood nearby, use it. You should be okay.

is it scratching the plastic under guard or the actuall bumper?

I did not put the sports package front dam. STILL, it scratches a little going up and down the ramp. You can put a small 2x4" wood to prevent this.
