Look up 73draggy on YouTube. He built his VR38 engine from a rejected/recalled long block. It's pretty neat with his attention to detail... almost OCD! I'd like to slowly build something like this on the side one day. It won't be anything too crazy - maybe a Stage 1 which can handle 600 whp or so.

Congrats, I too have the stage 2 kit. It's gonna be a blast once it's all done n tuned. You could do the install with the motor in but it will be a PITA! Why take the hard road when the easy road...

I believe this is correct. Switchin gears without using clutch is power shifting. Something I've seen done but would never do to my own car.

Lol, at least ur ready for the flaming! Look up AMNVQ. That will give u a lot of good info about going the "dealer" route. Your warranty will be voided because to gain the "500" hp you will need...
