Look up 73draggy on YouTube. He built his VR38 engine from a rejected/recalled long block. It's pretty neat with his attention to detail... almost OCD! I'd like to slowly build something like this on the side one day. It won't be anything too crazy - maybe a Stage 1 which can handle 600 whp or so.

Really? so powder coating damn pipes is another option, market sure must be dry.

soo $800 to paint the charger and the pipe black instead of having to polish it? Is this one of those less for more things or is there something else in the kit now that makes this better than buying...
