I agree and make sure the sway bar bushings are greased. They usually get dry and start to squeak.

You just have better control over the RPM's in a MT car. It's not always necessarily "faster" but you do tend to have better control over the car.

Bottom line right here.... 1/4 mile equals the fastest shifts = auto Road course has nothing to do about fastest shift, but shifting at the right rpms/time= manual
