You are destroying the taste on that Cohiba. You are suppose to light a cigar with wooden matches to preserve the flavor.

^NEGATIVE. Torch will do just fine (even better) since it gives off no flavor, and also gives the best controlled burn. Now if we wanted to get fancy you'd take a cidar strip and catch it on fire with a torch then toast and light your cigar that way.

I typically use matches anyway, but I was out. Thanks for the info though. If you notice, i've the flame realy low and I'm just letting the heat, light it up. I know it can sometimes change the taste for some people, but I rarely notice a difference if I do it right. The match is still the best approach though.
