They have to be cut off.

teggy 12-08-2016 04:44 PM

i thought the 09-14 wing would look better but i actually prefer the 15+ wing now that i see it, how do you find the cs front lip, i was looking at getting one but worried about ripping it off day 1 lol.

diego@vossen 12-10-2016 10:23 PM

Very well put together Nick. I do like the 15+ Nismo trunk more but never hurts to try things out. Sweet Nismo for sure!

YzGyz 12-11-2016 01:06 PM

I like the big wing but the angle dint match the new body angles. The old wing angle are more angled and rounded with the new body style has sharper angles. It's looks good but dint flow 100%

I'm in the same boat. I was just talking about swapping back this morning. That's why I bought a hatch instead of filling holes on mine and not liking the outcome.

BboyZ 12-11-2016 03:11 PM

What side blade are those? and where you got them? if you don't mind me asking.

OptionZero 12-11-2016 03:25 PM

Carbon Signal

BboyZ 12-11-2016 03:28 PM

Thanks Zero checking it now. :-p

It does make shifting enjoyable. One of my favorite mods.

Great build on the Z! What performance mods have you done so far to get your dyno numbers? Look forward to more on your build. Thanks

P's_Z 01-31-2017 05:30 PM

Your Z= :yum:

NismozZz 01-31-2017 07:51 PM

At the time of the dyno mods included were Stillen Gen3 Intakes, Motordyne ART test pipes and Motordyne E370 Exhaust.

best wheels

best wheels I ever saw. will those wheels fitstock suspension without rolling the front fender and what were thesize' those are greatest wheel I love the deep dish ' wondering what something like that cost

OptionZero 02-01-2017 09:12 PM

with enough camber, it should be fine depending on height. but there's no reason not to roll the fender, its not that hard for any equipped shop

You should contact DPE wheels if you want them:
CONTACT

No inside knowledge, but i'd expect four figures per wheel. These are three piece and forged. DPE G is running the "ESS" wheel from their Elite line

DPE G 02-02-2017 07:05 AM

All of the above is corrrect. My camber is at -2 all around. The fronts are rolled and bumper brackets trimmed.

If you want some pricing and more specifics shoot me a PM.

EternalDragon 02-02-2017 08:12 AM

love the build beautiful z!:yum:

Volk Z 02-03-2017 10:43 PM

I have the same offset and tire set up and I could use your input.
Do you have your alignment specs by chance? I am wondering what I need to run for camber.
Also I was thinking I need to trim the bump out in the front fender and a roll.

I'm also torn if I want to keep the flares. I trimmed the rear ones so they work with the stance.

Any input from you would be appreciated for getting rid of the rubbing.

OptionZero 02-03-2017 11:38 PM

Throw your flares away, they're garbage. They reduce clearance and they're ugly "fake flares" anyways.

Rear depending on height i'm betting -2 will do it. I am running 20x12 +20 with a 315/25. DPE_G is running 20x11 +0 with a 285/30 (a slight stretch, extends out a few mm further than mine). I got away with -2. There is a ton of space in back.

Fronts, assuming you are also at 20x9.5 +17 is only a 5mm further than the generic 19x9.5 +22 size that every run uses for their te37's. They are at stock suspension, so i can't imagine you need more than a half degree or so more than stock.

Depending on height you'll need to trim or relocate the front bumper tab

EDIT:
Refer to iBenjamm1n's thread HERE

He is running 265/35 on a 19x9.5 +17 front at -1.7 camber on the silver works

For his bronze works he ran 19x11 +0 rear with a 295/30 at -3.5deg camber. this is alot of camber but he is running a pretty meaty tire. Go down to a 285 or even 275 and i bet you can get it under -3

The easy solution?
Call SPL. Buy all their adjustable arms. Go to your performance suspension shop, have them roll your fronts, throw away the flares (or give them to cooltoy). Give them your wheels, and tell them to make it fit. Never have to worry about rubbing again!

Thanks a lot!!
I was going to trim the fender liner bump out tomorrow.

Your post was a ton of help!

Volk Z 02-04-2017 06:51 PM

I'm trying to figure out why my OEM Nismo wheels with a 25mm spacer (10.5 -2 offset) with the same width tire is much more aggressive... your rear should be almost the same if not more aggressive.
My only thought is you are running a good amount of camber in the rear..

Did you add camber after being lowered?

Pretty much nailed it all around. I run -2 front and rear just to keep them the same, could have gotten away with less, may try to stuff a 295 in it when the time comes as well.

Are you looking at the most recent pix from like after ZDayZ?

I think around that time is when he added air suspension. That allowed him to get waaaay low. The wheels get tucked in the process.

If you want to compare how it looks static/on coilovers, stick to the first 6 pages or so

ufoz8mycow 02-04-2017 11:28 PM

How the hell do you get the rivots off from the fender flares on the bumpers?

Love your build - Very Clean

nismo350z370z 02-12-2017 10:08 AM

Q, the carbon signal 3 piece front lips how does it attach from under the Bumper? Also, same does for the side pieces too? Thanks

DPE G 02-12-2017 10:40 AM

Mine is bolted, they suggest using a silicone type body adhesive, but I wanted to be able to remove it.
