well... my head is a little bit clearer now.... i went ahead and deleted the thread before it causes more of a stir with other members... ill see what baker has to say first.... on the brighter side... at least the titanium intakes are not ****** up.... i hope this all works out in the end.... :(

simota1 01-28-2013 05:33 AM

so i just finished emailing and pming baker... i will be awaiting and updating what they say.....

i wanted to hook up the intake which was good.... then i realized it didnt come with the instructions.... i know it dont take a rocket scientist to figure out how to mount them so i was like screw it.... so i mounted the coupler, first intake pipe, second coupler, second pipe......... and then i realized one big thing wrong again.... it didnt come with brackets that hold the intakes :( FML... i know i can fab a pair up no problem but damn.... i must have the worst luck right now.... dang it... so i took them off again and mounted my jim wolfs.....

if i didnt have to pull off the amuse bumper to clean them then i woulda have gotten those in a heart beat.... its such a gripe to pull off the bumper, not to mention how scary it feels tugging on the bumper...

Cleaning every 50k miles is NOTHING
Also, you can buy water sock things from K&N and it prolongs service life to 100k!

guys i was literally jumping around lol thats how happy i was.... my hats off to daytona racing... my friend did an OUTSTANDING JOB packing it.... i felt the love in the packing :roflpuke2: there was literally a crap load of bubble wrap and he even bubble wrapped the outside.... now thats what i expect when i order jdm stuff.... He even threw in some daytona racing towels which was awesome!!!! i think imma frame them :D no joke lol....

fyi before you guys ask me where are my pwjdm covers... still at the body shop :( they are having a nightmare of a time tryna chase all the imperfections i would NEVER recommend to get those cover EVER... horrible just plain horrible.... my uncles shop has finished 1 quart of clear shooting over 5 layers of clear and tryna chase all the crevices and sink holes in the gel coat of the covers smh.... hopefully by this weekend itll be done and then i can put everything in....

UPDATE on baker.... paul is still out of his shop he says he will check what he can do today.... im hoping he has the brackets so i can just mount my intakes.... i NEED to mount them because my jim wolfs are sold to jordo and i dont want him waiting to long... :( thats bad business....

Thanks for disclosing the awesome you are!

Those intakes is the detail in your car now! I got the quote it's basically the name you are paying for cause Tomei just released a complete TI exhaust for the 350z and it's roughly the same price!

Again this is the most baller thing I've seen done to a 370Z!

Elite!
