Why do you think it should cross at 5250? Please remember that here in Europe we use Nm instead of ft/tq as a torque unit (left Y axis - blue curve). It was measured on the dyno at 6th gear.

Here in Europe?

Location = Bensonville, IL ???

Also, why 6th gear?

To make sure the traction will be good, on 5th the car slips on the dyno rolls.

Sure, here it is. The car is tuned only at 10% ethanol. I think the 6266 turbo is max out at the moment. The only work left to do is VVEL tune to make the torque more flat at higher RPMs. Also maybe there are some gain possibilities in better headers (currently OEMs) and 3-3,5" exhaust (currently 2,5").

Just today I noticed Ecutek released the new software - I think it may be the game changer (VVEL, No lift shift, Flex fuel).

The 1.15 a/r turbine is maxed out, but the compressor should have more left in it. If you go with a 1.32 a/r turbine housing and keep the 18psi, there is a very good chance you would get over 700whp. It is the turbine that is choking the system...the 1.32 a/r would flatten out that HP after 6,000rpm, and it would help with the torque. Probably about $300 shipped to you if you choose to go with that.

Sasha, what do you recommend, that 1.32 a/r compressor in 6266 to unchoke it or the new, bigger 6766 turbo? Because after 300usd upgrade the cost of both would be pretty much the same.

Unless you are V2.0 make sure you get it with the E compressor cover. That S cover is going to fit without the manifold change

Just upgrade the the turbine to a 1.32 a/r...that is all. I wouldn't worry about going to the 6766 unless you want to really push things to the limit.

Correct, the S compressor cover works only on the V 2.0 of the kit, which includes a change of the manifold. He has the V 1.0 of the kit, with the modified E compressor cover. So to switch to a 6766, the new compressor cover would have to be modified.

Ok, but what about the turbo lag after that kind of upgrade ftom 1.15 to 1.32? Wouldn't that be a significant increase in the lag?

I've already upgraded the turbine to S cover and I've changed the manifold.

I had just recently seen your build thread and congrats to you sir on some nice numbers.:tiphat: also wanted to say that my build is closely resembles yours. I have a built motor with Wiesel 9:1 bored .020 over and eagle rods.. I'm hoping to see the same numbers or more towards 700...but I also have z1 headers and I'm changing to the 6766 so I don't run out of breath. Also going with 1000cc injectors and possible twin pump. Going with a custom 3.5" down pipe with a fast intentions 3" duel. I also have Sasha's 3" maf pipes instead of the 2.75..Ecutek is also another mod I will be getting as well. I hope to see what numbers in the spring that this will bring. I also say best of luck to you sir. Any possible feed back you may be able to supply? Thank you, mark

Your 3.5" dp, how'd it fit? Did you copy the original design? I've been looking to do it but can't find anyone to make it..I stand corrected, you posted pics before I got to reply haha
