Diabel's Boosted Performance Single Turbo Build

Ok guys, it is my turn now for forced induction and joining to the elite Boosted Performance Club !

Finally got the stuff from Sasha, in the next couple days I hope to be boosted. (BTW greetings to all that funny guys which are still in the one, well known group **** buy, I was one of them once ;)

Firstly - may I present you my both Z's - just to get your proper attention ;) :

http://www.laptopy-asus.pl/nissan/bp/0.jpg

Now we can move forward to unpacked BP kit:

As for now everything is just perfect. Many thanks to Sasha. His a great guy - and to be honest, that kind of support you get from him is priceless. Especially in those dark days when you have to humiliate yourself to make a deal with one of well know vendors who gives a SH..T about you.

The BP pros:

- Support & Client Service
- Simplicity of this kit is outstanding
- You do not have to remove the engine (I have this strange feeling that after removing engine for TT install nothing is the same any more - let me put it this way: she won't be a virgin again - if you know what I mean ;)
- Price for the kit
- Price for the labor
- The same or even better numbers that Twins
- Quality, big injectors, fuel pump
- Short time of deliver
- You have a feeling of being treated like a real customer not a dog - sometimes it is very important for a man ;)

Stay tuned :)

Diabel 02-04-2014 12:23 PM

Ok, we made some progress today, as for now everything is smooth. My tuner wants me to change the oil lines for stronger teflon ones. I'm sure that those from the kit would perfectly do the job but maybe think about it.

Won't need it any more - I hope ! :) :

We've seen great things from this kit here in house and transactions with Sasha are always smooth and pleasant. You are going to love what this transforms the car into.

Boosted Performance 02-04-2014 05:22 PM

Looking good.

The oil lines are very good Aeoroquip quality, so there really is no reason to change them to be honest.

Looking forward to more pictures of the install, and the final results. You will enjoy the setup like the rest of the BP club members :).

Just go with base kit, recirculated. But already have some extras like Southbend Clutch + CSC + lighter Flywheel, EGT&AFR gauge, custom HKS like exhaust but from better steel. Had to removed Stillens G3 intakes.

Also bought the HKS 6 EBC with that colour awsome LCD which cost me so much ;)

Also the stillen fascia and side skirts just waiting for kit to be installed.

To be honest the skinny one cost me a little bit more, but the real expenses shows when they have fun together ;)

Diabel 02-05-2014 02:55 PM

Boosted Performance 02-05-2014 03:27 PM

Looking good, but you still have to drill/tap the IM for your BOV vacuum source :), don't see it done in the picture yet.

Justin@CJM 02-05-2014 04:27 PM

Getting close to being one of the very few boosted Z cars in Chicago. It will be a whole other car when she is running again. We need to get a boosted z cruise going this summer. If it ever stops snowing.

there will be quite a few boosted z's in the chicago area this summer. and at least 3 boosted performance versions of it that i know.

keep an eye on the chicago cars and coffee thread for first gathering of the year, would be awesome to have them all there. though 2 of the guys bought that other kit that may or may not ship some time soon, um never:stirthepot::icon18::icon18:

I think I was the first in Chicago with the BP kit. THere is someone else with the BP kit too that is in the suburbs of Chicago.

I am up for a meet/cruise if I have time. I work midnights.

Gun free? LOL not really. Criminals were the only ones that would get there hands on them. Now any law abiding citizen can. Plus OP is from Bensenville IL. Gun laws are probably different.

Joepro 02-05-2014 05:55 PM

Looks like a bretta 92...it's that pic in the chicks with z thread? My perv azz would remember that..unless I missed a page ;)

jofro6 02-05-2014 06:01 PM

i cringe every time i see one of these BP build threads... from jealousy. Cant wait to see the final results for you.

09nismo498 02-05-2014 07:41 PM

I don't know about you adding a BP turbo kit to that mix....you already had enough horsepower, now even a built motor won't help you. :p

Congrats and looking forward to your results.

Diabel 02-08-2014 11:22 AM

In the meanwhile I took the stillen fascia to choose the color.. I think it will be the 'true blood' metallic/pearl foil :) My foil shop put it couple weeks ago on GTR and it looks good, so on the Z will definitely look even better ;) I think I'll cover all body in one color. In my opinion the two colors cars and matte foil are a little bit 'passe'. What do you think?

Current progress below, I think by the end of next week I'll post some numbers :)

Also just wonder how to put that power on the ground, I think about:

- racelogic traction control
- final gears ?
- camber as close to 0 as possible
- suspension upgrade
- whiteline bushings

Should I add something more to the list?

09nismo498 02-17-2014 04:39 PM

z1 trans mount may help

jwick 02-17-2014 05:10 PM

Nice. I'm wrapping also. How much header wrap did you go through for the progress in your pictures?

carlitos_370z 02-18-2014 05:50 AM

nice work dude!!!
