Had a lot of fun with some Z owners this past weekend. Unfortunately.....(:facepalm:)... A ladder fell out of the bed of a truck on the highway and I had to be the one to drive over it like a speed bump. I had no time, or room, to swerve out of the lane to avoid it without causing more damage. I pulled over to the side of the road only to see the truck driver pick up his completely demolished ladder and drive away. I was underneath my car at the time to check if I broke the oil pan or if anything was leaking. The car stalled, just cause it was a scary moment for me, so I couldnt just drive off after him... The front of my lip cracked in two spots, the bottom is scraped up and the section of the lip that connects it to the passenger side wheel well is almost cracked off.

I don't have any pics atm cause it is too late for my sick self to get out of bed and take any but I will post up tomorrow morning.

So I was thinking if I should just hold on to my lip til it comes apart or start looking into another one but still deciding whether or not to look into a new one or just get the same one.. Also, is it worth selling this one? Maybe someone can just bondo it back up and have it painted? (I can post pics tomorrow to show you guys)

Depending on how it looks I'd say leave it on there if it doesn't look to bad from the front. As long as its not gonna snap off when you're driving and get stuck under the car, rock it for a bit then replace it later on.

Yea I am really upset about that. I have been planning to look at another lip this year to change things up but I did not want the first one to end this way.. :shakes head:

I like the GT lip. Is that an old pick or did they tag that building again? They were finally painting it the other day.

It is a recent pic actually. I have driven past this building once and this time stopped by to shoot. I noticed it all painted before but this time it was tagged up everywhere. So it got me some decent pics haha

Did a little bit of stealth-ing today. Need to finish the rear emblem tomorrow. Looked for a third color to match my red and CF scheme and I tried some gold today.. I have been going back and forth with this now but I think it would be a good match up. I would do my lugs, calipers and the silver bits on the side markers to completely get rid of the silver. I know it probably looks silly now with the tow hook but it's just a place-holder.

So I had some time today for a simple interior mod. I like the way the all black interior looks but I thought it could use a little more so I found a brand new fabric marker laying around the house and put it to good use and all of the work took 30 minutes or so. Just simply go down the stitching a few inches and wipe off. I did the whole interior (door panels, seats, center console, etc.). The pictures seem like the color is faded but its much more red than it looks. Excuse the filthiness. :ugh2: Here you go! :tiphat:

I really like the bi-color effect with the rear wing being black-ish, instead of red.
I was thinking of doing the same thing, when I install a rear wing for my Z. How do you like it so far?

I REALLY like that on your red Z! Looks great!

So a little bit of an update but I am close to finishing up my phase 1 of my build. All that is left is the shine auto spats, swift springs, stillen gen 3 intakes and cbe exhaust (still a secret ;) ) with art pipes. I am really hoping to get most of this stuff done by April. Phase 2 will be wheels (most likely Avant Garde M350's), possibly full coilover set-up, a new font lip and some performance stuff.

In the meantime I got these barrel overs put on today for the interior. Courtesy of Riptide67 :tup:

Thanks to the influence of Iwan :rolleyes: I decided to do the lowering first. I will be getting H&R springs with SPC Rear Camber Arms and SPC Toe bolts. All of which will cost me under 500 bucks. That will be my first step now. Will be ordering these soon :)

The door barrels look great! I almost wish I had kept them after seeing your install pics!

What made you decide on the H&R springs? I had the Swift springs and the drop was pretty nice and the ride was amazing! Just a little perspective from my end :)

I really like the drop of the swifts, don't get me wrong... but I would really like to go lower than that.

H&R springs will be at my door tomorrow. When Kyle(Houston) gets back to me I will put the payment down for SPC rear camber arms and bolts as soon as I get the invoice. Shooting to have it all done by Monday of next week. A friend and I are going to tackle it together.
