Oh by the way, I ordered the "FAIRLADY Z" rear deck emblem today. I hear it will add at least 100whp! ;)

nogoodname 10-17-2009 09:00 AM

not to be rude or anything..... i thought the nismo rims were new in box.............

antennahead 10-17-2009 10:56 AM

You're not selling the Nismo rims?

frost 10-17-2009 10:58 AM

Hopefully won't be selling as new now.

Smallywood 10-17-2009 11:01 AM

No I still have the NIB wheels as well, I bought 2 sets. Nismo wheels are the best, hands down... If I don't sell them I will just take them back.

Trips 10-17-2009 11:01 AM

Did I miss the pics of them in the box?

frost 10-17-2009 11:04 AM

How come you bought 2 sets?

I got a better price on the second set. I can still take the 1st ones back, but was trying to offer them to someone here if they wanted them.

nogoodname 10-17-2009 11:11 AM

doesnt make sense......

i think u wanna sell those on the Z and get top dollar

frost 10-17-2009 11:12 AM

Did you buy them local? I noticed you said "take" them back and not "send" them back.

I will never sell my Nismo wheels. I have wanted them since I saw them on the Nissan website before the Nismo came out.

I got this schweet poster from the dealership when I bought my car:

Equinox 10-19-2009 09:30 PM

Nismo wheels. Nooooo

edeeZee 10-19-2009 10:18 PM

S-tune is how JDM oughta be, simple, subtle and--clean!

Notice the s-tune dual CAIs on the poster that have yet to be released...

I'm still rocking r-tune dual CAIs, and patiently waiting for the s-tunes to see a release...

I saw some sell on ebay recently, with tires for like 1125 plus 200 shipping. Pretty cheap.

To me, I don't really care if the hipo stuff is JDM or not, I usually go for whichever makes more hp. When I used to be into Hondas, "Civic Type R" cams did make more hp than the aftermarket ones, so I'd stick to those.

I heard Stillen CAI are good.

Yup, they went, with tires, for $1125. One small chip on one of the wheels.

Yeah, but if you noticed the auction ended early (A deal was made outside of ebay). They cancelled a bid of $2650.00 & $2600.00 hours before it was scheduled to end.

*Also - One of the front wheels were damaged.

Yeah, it's all personal preference, and what you're looking for. Different strokes for different folks... :tiphat:

Yeah I could have sworn I saw it up in the mid 2k area, but didn't see the automatic bids and cancellation reports. That makes me feel a little better in case I want to ever sell my OEM wheels. It's pretty cool that he sold the rims WITH the tires though.

These are the pics I got the red behind the Nissan logo from. Reminds me of the old Datsun logo, and I had to steal the idea after seeing it.

Smallywood 11-06-2009 03:06 PM

You can also add the Nismo body braces, nismo brake pads, and nismo shifter.

No spacers. Nismo Wheels sit flush with the body:

azn370z 11-06-2009 06:25 PM

I saw the nismo z in person and was surprised what 7mm and additional 1/2 inch in wheel width can do. But I wouldn't say it's flush. It's still tucked in.
