Here is both sides of my Z1 rotors. I have stainless brake lines, new pads as well as a fluid upgrade.

This morning I got behind first a Volvo then a Porsche GT3, behind me was an Audi RS5. I had great hopes for the GT3 but both Volvo and Porsche turned off left leaving the Audi to chase me, and he did.
The first turn seperated me from him but when third gear ended and forth was needed he was still coming. Up ahead I saw one of our local constables traveling in the same direction. I'm sure I made some weird hand gestures out the window that may have been hard to understand, but when we three arrived at the stop sign I was given the thumbs up. Boredom the rest of the drive to work. |
Omg! 4 lane divided highway. I am on it for about five miles on my daily commute. Some JA always cruising 55, IN THE FAST LANE. Normal lane running 58-59 (wtf)...moving j u s t fast enuff to get a bit ahead of JA...i switch from the fast lane to the normal lane, waiting....
Waiting.... Waiting... There's the sweet spot GO! I zip through the opening and speed away... Lol, the JA figures it out and gets over. Smh. I would never try this in the Civic. I love Harry! :driving: |

Started today with getting caught in road work. Nearly 2 minutes of waiting before the first car came up behind. All the cars ahead turned another direction leaving me a road without traffic.
The car behind me started to accelerate with me but when I hit a turn at 60 and was still accelerating, the car backed off, never to be seen again today. The entire drive to work was stellar. The only time I almost slowed down was for the UPS truck that signaled and turned off. I thought "This drive just keeps getting better." Another mile away I encountered a truck and had already driven past all expectations of clear road. I am blessed in more ways than one. |
Passing other cars in my Z, on a two lane with few passing zones, is pure bliss.
I love Harry. |

I had my rotors and pads installed yesterday. I need a chance to tell if their is a difference. The "butt dyno" seemed to think yes but I was going too slow (Thanks Mr. Hybrid) to really know.
The SS brake lines and fluid will be today. |
I 'd like to check out my new set up but every where I go I am stuck behind another.
Yesterday a Prius held me up until I was a couple hundred yards from home. I decided to drive beyond home and just drive until I got stuck again. I did get a couple miles further until I made a U turn home. My steering feels lighter but I can not help but think everything is in my head. |

I just bought these Forged LMZ5 NISMO S-Tune wheels for $300. I plan to use them for the track next month. Monday I will be at Thunderhill Raceway. Still the old 3 mile track but soon to be five miles. |
Thunderhill came and went. I will write a bit more about it, but I am behind elsewhere in life with Monday off work.
