Jason....I finally finished reading ur build thread.....awesome transformation.....a lot of blood sweat and tears to include $$$$ put into this baby....
Absolutely beautiful build....I truly love the shade of blue you chose....it reminds me so.much of two of my old cars........I'm assuming your paint color/code was custom mixed.... |

Congrats on the feature....but This build thread is better than the article. More details and highly interactive  |
:iagree::iagree::iagree:I'm with brother Raf, between your thread and getting to spend time with you and your wife everything else pales in comparison. But on the other hand what a tributes to your efforts...it gives every gear head that is into this stuff a chance to see and admire your beauty!!!:owned:

I took the Z to a car show even though it was training all day. It didn't go without reward...

Super Street Magazine just uploaded my feature to the interwebz. Check it out here - Varis Turbo 2009 Nissan 370Z by Bulletproof Automotive

I saw it earlier this morning on Facebook, Great article Mr. Gale!
I was just scrolling and came across the picture and before I looked at who posted (bulletproof automotive and Super Street Magazine) I was like that's Gale's Z! Clicked on the article and viola! Shared it immediately. |
I haven't posted anything in a while. Here's a short video of the AirRex suspension in action.

Jason, can you switch ride height while the car is moving or is it only done at a complete stop?

Oh, and I quick fab'ed a carbonfiber license plate mount.
Don't worry, this will be remove at the first stop after I cross the border. (I'm traveling to NJ) |
Hmmm, a condomized Z...:leghump:

Hope it is safe and fun travels to NJ :tiphat: |
I'm back. This was the Canibeat First Class Fitment show in Princeton NJ. We won Best Paint. I was happy with the considering my car really doesn't go with the "Fitment" scene. We went to support a sponsor. Normally I wouldn't have gone to this show because of my car not fitting the genre.
Edit- The show was large, good turn out with many quality vehicles. We got great exposure, securing two photoshoots. One photoshoot for personal use and one for a magazine. https://farm1.staticflickr.com/776/2...b93b6e5f_c.jpgUntitled by Jason Gale, on Flickr |

A bit about the trip to NJ.
The weather was supposed to cooperate, but would;t you know it rained half of the way from Toronto to NJ. The tape help up ok after the rain and 500 mi drive. As I pull into the hotel I see 3 show vehicles being unloaded from trailers. I'm like :icon14: At the hotel, https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5705/...f0ab5680_c.jpgUntitled by Jason Gale, on Flickr The show was cold and windy. See above post for show details. The morning after the show I go outside to check on the car... https://farm1.staticflickr.com/659/2...cfe47064_c.jpgUntitled by Jason Gale, on Flickr Yes, that's frost and ice. Not cool. And just by chance we were able to meet up with Diego Perri to do a photoshoot. (Diego is a Z fanatic, owning no less than 7) Teaser pic from the photoshoot, https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5832/...79853be7_c.jpgUntitled by Jason Gale, on Flickr After the shoot, Mrs.Force and I taped up the front end for the drive home, https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5815/...00b5263e_c.jpgUntitled by Jason Gale, on Flickr It snowed on and off most of the way home. Lucky for us it wasn't staying on the ground. After we crossed the border, back on home soil, I felt comfortable to give it some gas. Peak boost 10 psi... https://farm1.staticflickr.com/578/2...82de21e4_c.jpgUntitled by Jason Gale, on Flickr We returned home safe and sound. Overall a good trip (minus the weather). |
I love that you drive your car and she is not a garage queen and really...you had to go home to Canada to warm up!!!
|
I wish I traveled an hour to meet you man! Big fan of your build! Maybe if I visit my family in Toronto or Ottawa from NJ we'll cross paths. Hope you had a good time in NJ!

It's nice, rides like a Caddy. My only complaints so far is the front seats could be better and the lack of heater controls in the back. Oh and no auto up for the passenger window . For the kind of $$ they get for these, that stuff should be included |
Quote:
The seats are a real bummer after having coming from the supportive Juke Nismo seats. I would take rear heater controls over the power rear window. :ugh2: I do like the small display in the instrument cluster |
