How was the RJM pedal instal? I still have not set time aside to do mine. Really because I have no idea how log it should/will take. It is something I want to be sure I can have done in what ever time I put aside for it.

Any flaws with the instructions? How did you set yours?

The install is pretty easy. Mine took a couple hours max. Hardest part is getting down there and manoeuvring around to remove and install the right pieces. After that it is just some minor adjustment until you get the desired feel.

Basically like N0SL3N said. Plan a couple of hours. I'm glad I did mine while the dash was out. It gave me a little more room to manoeuvre. Having the raised up on jack stands helped too.

Instructions were good, and the parts fit perfectly. I set it up to the 70% mark like the instructions suggest and I was able to row through the gears no problem. The real test will come during the first drive  It's going to be like a whole new car :driving:

I could have the car ready to start this weekend. I need to wire up 4 gauges and the boost controller, finish installing the IP and finish running vacuum hose (waiting for the hose to arrive).

Navyboy916 01-17-2013 08:23 PM

What size gauges are those?

The Dimer 01-17-2013 09:29 PM

They're beautiful. So you've got boost, oil temperature, and oil pressure in the stock spots; and I'm assuming wideband in your custom pod. Looks like you're set!

52mm Defi CR gauges. It looks like any 52mm gauge will slide right in, but it was a bunch of work to get these looking and fitting good in the stock location.

I think I will take a vacation, drive my Z up to your garage and install this kit with your help! :)

GaleForce 01-18-2013 01:57 PM

I just received the worlds most expensive vacuum hose today. Now I can finish my boost controller install. Also need to wire up my A/F ratio gauge. Hopefully I can get to this stuff on the weekend.

Just waiting for the base map now.

The A/F ratio gauge got wired up this afternoon. Also received the base map. Now I just need to find some time to finish running vacuum line, load the base map, and hope for warmer weather so I can get this to the exhaust shop. Wouldn't you know, it just started snowing...

I haven't been to Guam, but with 80 degrees all year, I think I would like it. :happydance:

A quick shot while I was walking by today. I'm thinking about painting or powder coating the strut bar...

Only problem is getting a visa/green card to work and live, otherwise I would have probably already done it :ugh2: But Jason, you and I could start an electrical business together if we could get approved:tup:

Thats the crankcase vent, there is one on the other side as well its just pointing towards the camera. I was actually going to ask if you Jason if you tried to modify the passengers side to stand up just like it does on the drivers side. Maybe one could get a drivers side line and make it work? I spent a bit of time looking at this while I was doing my injectors. Or maybe change out the drivers side so that it lays down like the passengers?
