Never did find out how you got all that power tho, ... did you do the internals ???

 bob

Stock block with a Boosted Performance turbo kit. I was the first person other than Sasha to install this kit. I drove it 8+ hours to R/T Tuning for a proper tune after the install. No issues.

High boost is 11.5 PSI 521 rwhp
Low boost is 7 PSI 473 rwhp

7psi is 473whp...Fantastic!!!

I'm so giddy to install my kit I can't even put it in words...Unfortunetly I have to wait until mid-April :ugh:

Still it'll be worth it. Especially since I'll be the first to confirm and open the door for Sasha to sell his kit to us G guys (fingers crossed it fits)

And one question. How many miles do you have on the high boost setting anyway?

That's ok, I have to wait until mid-April to get my car out of storage. Sucks, but will be worth it.

5-6000 miles I can't remember for sure, I would need to check my odometer. I think closer to 6000 problem free, high boost miles. :driving:

Those are really good numbers. Torque number is a little high for my comfort but I'm all for pushing the envelope on the stock block. All of Sasha's build components are top notch so if the block can handle it, you should have no issues with the quality of the kit.

BOOST ON BROTHA!!!

I think we all realize when adding 240+ hp along with copious amounts of torque to a stock motor there are more chances for problems to occur when compared to keeping things stock, but keeping things stock is no fun. :D

There is no doubt that the Boosted Performance kit is all quality. Plus I had one of the best Nissan tuners, if not the best, tune my car. I have full confidence with the work from Vince at R/T Tuning and Sasha at Boosted Performance. Now I just need some good weather so i can get out and play :driving:

Word for H-town too. I've got a spare bedroom for you. It would be nice to have a second BP turbo actually drive on a Texas street considering that as far as I know the most southern BP kit is in N.C. (except for soon to be mine...)

Yes sir! We were up early to watch our boys take gold.

I think you'll like what you see with the Boosted Performance kit. It would be sweet to see one on your car now that you have that built motor, but I know you and JTran will make a kickass kit for your car.

Our kit will be a bit similar, after all it is a low mount. I'll keep you in the loop my friend!

Seat update.

Turns out the seats I ordered have never been made. They mistakenly used a product description thinking it was right without looking at the actual product. Also one of the seats has damaged foam in it. I'm now speaking with the NA distributors. A few options have been given, waiting on more info from them. Bottom line, the damaged seat will be replaced, or they will custom order the seats to meet the advertised product description as replacements. Hopefully I have more concrete answers tomorrow.

I hate being in limbo after dropping Varis body kit money on seats, rails, harnesses.

Wiggins3377 02-26-2014 07:55 PM

Sorry to hear it. Hope everything works out.

Slightly off topic, but how far are you from Cleveland, OH?

 I like hearing that you are at least getting good communication from them

I kinda hope they end up custom ordering you the seats you want  :stirthepot:

It's good that they are taking care of things. But to me a "good" company is who get things done right the first time. Good luck Galeforce...You're a virtuous dude. I'd be furious at this point

I'm starting to think that we've talked about this, but my weeks are all blending together. Just wondering if you planned on going to the Midwest Heritage Z Show.

Thanks for the encouraging words guys.

I haven't heard anything from the NA distributor today. I will call, email, and text them tomorrow. I will remind them of my expectations, and their promises. If they cannot meet my expectations in a timely manner then I will ask for a full refund.

Can you find out and PM me the shop that it's going to? I might think about doing the same thing.

Another seat update.

I just got off the phone with the NA Distributor. We got things figured out. They are making new seats in Germany to my exact specifications. These will have a one-off finish, and heating elements. They are so stoked about these seats that they are planning a photo shoot for them. They are putting a rush on them, but we still won't see them until April because of shipping times, and they sit in customs for a week.

I am impressed with the level of communication with these guys. I will do a full write up when I receive the seats.
