So what are you expecting to be putting down with this build? Any hp goals in mine? I for one can't wait to hear this thing already!!

Navyboy916 01-12-2013 12:02 AM

I really have no idea what the hp is going to be. I know JUN builds great products and so these cams should really open the head up and add significant power to the engine. I am trying to build not just the motor but the supporting pieces as well like the transmission aka. new torque converter and flex plate. I will be posting video and pics as the motor is reassembled and of course the first start up. This has seemed like forever but the excitement is growing. I will also be posting a list of parts and cost for this entire build to hopefully help others make the decision to stay NA.

Can't wait to see this put together!

BlkNismo 01-12-2013 08:16 AM

have you thought about replacing the pistons? Jun posted hp numbers with aftermarket pistons, (maybe rods too?) along with their cams.

simota1 01-12-2013 01:47 PM

i cant wait to see how this thing will perform  great job dood!!!

Navyboy916 01-12-2013 02:51 PM

I have thought about replacing the buttom end but not right now cause my car has only 8,000 miles on it so I want to use it the way it is. When I get back to the states is when I am going to look at building a new block but, for now I will see what this setup will do.

It was confirmed today from the parts manager at Nissan in Guam that my parts are in the air in flight to them will be there for sure on Tuesday. I am so stoked.

No major added weight like forced induction...more traction then forced induction...hmmmm...my wallet hurts LOL!

Edit: you'll really impress me if you figure out how to use ITB's O_o
