Are you planning on swapping out the gears? My guess would be that all the top-end work you're doing will shift the powerband to the right more than a little. 4.08 gears would get you into the meat of the powerband faster.

As of right now I am not planning on swapping out the gears. I might later when i get back to the states. Here is a pic of my new motor mounts from Z1 Motorsports.:happydance: These should help with the flexing of the motor they are really stout and well made.

I have just received the full cylinder head gasket kit from nissan today and a new thermostat. I am hoping the heads will be done done next week from GTM. Here is a pic of what the Z's and G's rep here on Guam. They are located on the back windshield. Not a huge sticker fan but its going to look good and with not many Z's and G's here we will standout. :happydance: It sure is depressing when your car is down for so long and the heads are halfway around the world. Hope GTM can show what these JUN cams and upgraded valve train will do when the heads are flowing so much better.

that sticker looks familiar... where can i get one ;)

Finally have an update to my build. Gtm has been backed logged so its taking a little longer to get the heads put back together. Today I shipped off my torque converter to gtm cause I am purchasing their upgraded torque converter for the 370z. Gtm has told me they hope to get the heads back together and shipped by this week. I am keeping my fingers crossed they can get it done. Thanks to gtm for stepping up and handling this built for me.

Haha, your car might be the reason my car won't start making headway until January (late). GTM has my ride for the next nine months. Cant wait to see this come together. They do have a lot of projects on their plate.

Navyboy916 12-21-2012 10:30 PM

They don't have my car they just have my heads and JUN cams. They had to make the valves. I am stationed in Guam so half a world away. I am hope they will be done with mine next week. Good luck on your ride u will have a sweet setup when done

Here an update. I have just purchased the GTM 7 AT torque converter along with the HD flex plate. I really am hoping that GTM will finish my heads this week and get them shipped to me. I also have ordered new urethane exhaust mount kit which will keep the exhaust from shifting when under acceleration from torque solutions.

Maybe I didn't read thoroughly, but, why is the front of your car missing? And what kind of SHADY ÁSS dealer do you have in Guam that THEY installed your Jun camshaft???

LOL

Navyboy916 01-10-2013 02:36 PM

You should read the whole thread, they removed my motor and I pulled the heads off and sent to Ca. for upgraded valvetrain and Jun cam install. GTM actually was the placed that has installed my cams and valvetrain. The dealership is only responsible for pulling the motor out and heads off and they are going to reinstall the heads and all the other parts I am going install.
