I don't mean to sound cruel

but what the ?????

You had a car w 8k. Took the engine apart. Rebuild it for over a year. Made video of you driving 10mph, & spent a fortune.

Did I miss something??????

That's about right but also installed a lot of parts during the build

I still don't get it but as long as you enjoyed yourself & are happy, I'm happy too.

And we'll be waiting a couple hours. He's in Hawaii, right? That's quite a few hours difference. :rofl2:

Because we ALL are thinking of doing the same thing?

My prediction from experience.

Because parts have to work together/compliment each other & have good reason to be installed. I predict (NOT WISH!!) that the results will be disappointing or will not be posted. Sorry.

DEpointfive0 11-02-2013 12:58 PM

My only question is... Since there isn't a before dyno, why do we care about the after?

brucelidat 11-02-2013 12:59 PM

buzzkill!

brucelidat 11-02-2013 01:02 PM

it'll just be interesting to see what he has after all those mods because no one else has done this. We don't have a before dyno to reference, but we all have an idea of around how much our cars make with certain mods so it still gives you a ballpark (unless it's one of those ridiculously retarded high dynos). I don't think most of us are thinking of doing all this, but we just want to see the results and wish for the best for OP.

andre12031948 11-02-2013 01:03 PM

I didn't go there because

I never understood the whole thing....

I however agree with you. Different dynos & tuners can make 50 h.p or ????? difference. Also we may get the H.P. but just like DEpoint pointed out, we won't know the gain from a stock car.

No...he means you need a starting point for comparason purposes.
