I got mine from iJDMtoy.com, they're projector LEDs. LEDs don't get hot, so you don't have to worry about damaging the housing.

:iagree:

For Halo's I use the http://www.theretrofitsource.com/pro...ducts_id=14906... Your right to swap out the bulbs with LED's. Will assist in life of your lights. Good thing is they are made for 12V..

Update:

Kelly, again came over and we pulled the fuel pump and the intake.. To night install the new pump and the adapt.

http://www.the370z.com/members/nut_n...5-img-0275.jpg
http://www.the370z.com/members/nut_n...6-img-0280.jpg

After pulling it apart I found a bunch of crud in the swirl canister and on the filter. 60,000 miles will do that I guess..

http://www.the370z.com/members/nut_n...7-img-0282.jpg

Party foul, i started to install the new fuel pump and the DW I was sent is a 300 not a 340.. I will check and see what Mr. Squeeze thinks.. I think it will be fine, my injectors are 600 and I don't see maxing them out..

Intake out, finished modding the fuel rail..

http://www.the370z.com/members/nut_n...1-img-0278.jpg

So I took a break and my dog BooBoo was lookin like a criminal. I looked around and all the remotes were accounted for so I think I got him while he was thinking of doing something bad..

http://www.the370z.com/members/nut_n...0-img-0205.jpg

Nut_N_Much 04-22-2013 06:35 PM

Yep, checked Mr. Squeeze build log and he used a 600.. I'll be good, I thing if I used 850 injectors and started meth I would need the 340.. :tiphat:

Zoren 370 04-22-2013 06:56 PM

Great!!! Do I need to get the Longacre Racing bottle or you have one too?
What would be a good weekend day for a DIY in your place?
Not this weekend though I do have work.

Did you get the fuel starve set up? If a batch gets made again I need to get one ASAP. Last time I drove I hit fuel starve with only like 3 dots missing. Guess im corning to hard :shakes head: Horrible flaw with this car.

Huck 04-23-2013 12:34 AM

Mr, is it when you take a left turn? I've taken right turns at 80+ sharp enough to lose grip and I've never had fuel starve.

I was on the phone with CJM this morning Charles said for my set up a return system may be more beneficial. You should give him a call 331-442-6780, good people.

Robs running a twin turbo, way more fuel flow with our shitty swirl canister causing starvation.. The dual pick ups on the CJM combined with the return kit would fix that problem. :stirthepot: When you add the cost up it may be cheaper to just get there replacement pump assembly. High quality anodized aluminum.. Bad A$$ !!! My system wont have enough balls to benefit from it..

Check this guy out.. Thinks he is working on truck :happydance: .. This is Kelly, again he came over to help out.

http://www.the370z.com/members/nut_n...0-img-0294.jpg

http://www.the370z.com/members/nut_n...9-img-0292.jpg

TB Coolant Delete to throttle bodies DONE! Thanks to (WSTAR) an his DIY, perfect. Thank you sir!!! http://www.the370z.com/diy-section-d...nt-delete.html That was the easiest mod I ever did.. Of course Kelly did all the work.. Thanks bud for helping out/doing it all :tiphat:.

So today we got the pump mounted and the brackets for the heat exchanger modified to fit. Also got the coolant over flow removed. I think this was a G35 kit to start with. We have had to modify a bunch of stuff and the pulley for the SC was the wrong shaft size..

Next:

I have to peal back the TB wiring and move it over to the left side, finish the injectors, re-install the fuel pump, move the battery. Try to do tomorrow..

Tonight I'm gonna make some money  .. I'm going to re-wrap my Gen 3 intake and basket weave with stainless wire, add on the Z1 couplers, add a baggy with nice Hex head MAF screws and post it for sale in the classifieds. :yum:

Again a shout out to Kelly for being my hands, you rock, any body who doesn't think so remember I shoot 1000 yard matches all the time  Lol..

Mr&Mrs 04-23-2013 03:03 PM

Huck as Joe said part of it is the fact I am TT. The biggest problem is sweeping right hand turns not just for TT but almost anyone that tracks with less than 3/4 of a tank.

Also after you take the corner are you gaining speed or applying more gas? It will be more dominate like that as well. If you just slam through a corner and lose speed or dont call for more (more gas) it may not cause an issue you can notice. Turning that fast on a righty though with low fuel its hard to believe it hasnt hit you in some form.

Be careful and dont get stuck in limp mode.

Slight acceleration through a fairly sweeping right turn at maybe 65 or 70 with maybe 3-4 dots left and I've never had a problem. Weird.

Went to the Doc today. They took xrays and said the double fusion is healing good. Thanks to Kelly for making it easy to work on the car.. I guess I'll be in this brace for 4 moore weeks, and therapy for 6 weeks after that. No working  , I think I can deal with that.. :happydance:

I have no excuses, I have plenty of time to finish my car.. Lean bill of health so far!!! :yum:

Thanks fellas ! This is my 3rd back surgery, nothing else they can do after this one. I don't mess around when it comes to healing.

The AN fittings will puch right threw the fire wall.. Perfect location..

http://www.the370z.com/members/nut_n...9-img-0316.jpg

Waiting on my Relocation kit for the battery and I'm in the money $$$$.. Also spoke with CDM about the return line kit, we are testing 2 locations to tap into the fuel line. One is to just cut into it and add a fitting the other is a nice anodized spacer that sits on the fuel rail. We aren't sure if it will clear the Stillen kit but I think it will be fine.. Will post updates when the kit arrives.. The kit will help eliminate fuel spikes at idle and allow me to adjust fuel pressure externally.

Kelly was right, I think I'll move the pump to the left side of the care to shorten the distance for the water flow.

Edit: Forgot the Moto again... Sorry

:yum:

simota1 04-25-2013 03:02 PM

Updates:

Got the valve cover vents ran.. Also pulled the fuel rail out and swapped the old injectors for DW 600's . It was easier to take the hole thing out at once than trying to disconnect each one while on the engine block. Scared I would drop stuff in the block...

Top of intakes rails off..

Hole thing all at once..

Done, all are installed and I was able to reuse the retainer clips...
http://www.the370z.com/members/nut_n...4-img-0358.jpg

Started to strip back the wiring for the throttle body plug.. I need to add about 12 inches to it. Trying to minimize the distance by cutting back the stock harness as far as I can..

I am on a crunch time.. I need this SC install finished so I can drive to Z-Days on the 14th. Running out of time, so I am doing the detailed stuff. Kelley will come over and do the heavy lifting for me..

Tomorrow I'll pick up the intake and calipers from powder coating.. As long as there are no ghost turds on the finish.. This week I should have the intake/throttle bodies set up but not on the car, water res mounted and lines ran, pump and heat exchanger mounted.

Just waiting on the fuel return line, and the battery relo kit to get here! Wanted to make appointment with Mike for tuning next week.. :happydance:

Water reservoir for the heat exchanger and intercooler will go here. I got the holes done with my notching hole saw blades..

http://www.the370z.com/members/nut_n...6-img-0359.jpg

The AN fittings are 90 deg bends, so they will point to the front of the car. The holes are a little off but will work. I need some boots from DayStar to seal the holes from the engine compartment.
http://www.the370z.com/members/nut_n...7-img-0362.jpg
http://www.the370z.com/members/nut_n...8-img-0363.jpg

I'll extend the MAF and Throttle body plugs tonight. Next is a waiting game for the fuel return kit and battery relocation kit from Taylor. :tiphat:

My Carbon Tech Brake pads came in from Z1 yesterday.. Its like X-Mas when the FedEx or UPS guy is in the hood.. :rofl2:

2 PG13 Moto Pics for the day!!!
