got focals in the door and a pioneer dvd headunit (forgot which unit)

ShinyBlueZ 04-23-2012 11:07 AM

Focals sound real nice.. my buddy has them in his Mitsubishi. :happydance:

I always hear from people "What? You didn't get a sunroof?" :shakes head:

The (vinyl?) top is cool.. I like the rear a lot though it looks pro. The matching blue baby seat is the best though haha

Shiny blue Zs lead the way! :driving:

LakeShow 04-23-2012 11:36 AM

Love the blue mixed with black accents.

370ZilverZ 04-23-2012 12:16 PM

Great job so far. Keep up the good work.

tibal 04-23-2012 01:07 PM

Looking great! Definitely looks professionally done, especially the rear!

Bigviet23 04-23-2012 09:56 PM

Thanks everyone. Wheel spacers are gonna be on order soon. Any suggestions on what I could do next?

Skeeterbop 04-23-2012 10:35 PM

Looking great! My vote for the next mod is on an exhaust, it really brings the car to life and adds what is missing in stock form imho.

nmjaxx9 04-23-2012 10:36 PM

looks good so far, maybe new wheels? or paint/powdercoat stocks if like you said you are poor :icon17:

Bigviet23 04-23-2012 11:00 PM

Exhaust is a great idea. I was thinking about FI or motor dyne.

Would love to get wheels but my z is a dd and the ride is really comfortable scared that the bigger wheels will ruin that

depends on what kind of tires you get as well. going up to 19s are not gonna make the ride that much more ruff. I daily drive mine on 19s. :tiphat:

Skeeterbop 04-23-2012 11:03 PM

I would think that as long as the overall weight of the wheel/tire combo remains the same as stock or lighter; your ride quality should remain pretty similar. It might be slightly harsher due to a smaller sidewall, but it shouldn't be a big difference.

ZLife 04-24-2012 12:00 AM

looking good so far! keep up the good work.

Wheels are one of the last things for me. Unless I find a super deal on a set. Thinking about the ings +1 front lip right now and maybe the evo side blades

Oh ic, just don't go far into the exterior mods and forget about the wheels, they are like the bread and butter of theexterior mods, they really set off your car. coming from a base 18 wheel owner myself I hate the look of em. jus my opinion tho. :icon17:

Bigviet23 04-28-2012 11:15 PM

Yeah, I know what you mean. I'm imparial to the rims but we'll see. No major exterior mods for me. Hopefully I can keep it tasteful

Mannysrt8 04-29-2012 12:23 AM

Quick question:

You have a car seat in your Z?front facing seat?

Yeah, my son is five and the airbags shut off so it's pretty safe as long as I drive safe. I usually don't drive too far with him

Bigviet23 07-02-2012 04:45 PM
