I think R's Tuning GTR was the inspiration for his Z

Mr&Mrs 08-08-2013 01:35 PM

Great updates, I love that exhaust!

Reaper42 08-08-2013 01:36 PM

Ricky's GTR is the main inspiration for my Z. But alas it is a Z, not a gtr, and has its own unique design, flavor, and soul.

And yes, it is a heat shield for the exhaust.

ZMan8 08-08-2013 02:15 PM

Jon,

Are you going to think about doing a rear diffuser, it would be much easier for you than for us running cans down there.

So I would like to share with everyone some very exciting news that came about yesterday. I was contacted by CSF Inc., the leader in racing & high performance radiators and cooling products, and they invited me to become one of their new sponsor cars and to put my car on display at SEMA in Las Vegas this November. Now anyone that knows anything about modifying cars knows that SEMA is the BIGGEST and most talked about trade show for the automotive industry of the year. I am very excited about this new door that has opened up for me and hope for the best in future opportunities that will branch from this experience.

I want to thank CSF Inc. - Racing & High Performance for the opportunity, and I'd like to especially thank a few people that have worked with me along the way to turn this car into what it is today. Val Palella over at A & L Autobody, Dan Bulat over at Element Graphics & Design, Inc., Cj Morrison at DragNFly Performance LLC, Alex Nagy with Nagy Photography, and all my friends and family who have supported me.

Vegas here we come!

simota1 08-29-2013 04:14 PM

congrats brother

ts-c63 08-29-2013 04:18 PM

vividracing 08-29-2013 05:49 PM

Congrats! Looking forward to seeing those fenders in person, they've been haunting my dreams!

Reaper42 08-29-2013 10:31 PM

Congrats! Are the shops you're working with local? Would be nice to know some local shops that can do great work.

Yes everyone is local besides CSF which is based out of California. A&L Autobody is in Palatine, IL, Element Graphics and design is in Frankfort, IL, and DragNfly performance is in Milwaukee. All these companies have a facebook page so be sure to check them out!

OMGWTFBBQ 09-03-2013 03:16 PM

Wow! Congrats on making it to SEMA! Hopefully I will have time to see it in person!
