I no longer have the motorhome. That frees up about $1,200 a month.

It has 4 wheels, a windshield, and 500+ ftlbs of torque with a simple tune. :driving:

danegrey 01-30-2022 05:43 PM

Sounds like a Mk5 Supra. Or a c8.

EDIT: Italian! No ideas.

That's a Japanese beemer.

It's not an Alfa, so the only thing that is Italianish is a mid-engine Chevy. It looks and smells like a Ferrari. If I am correct, Rust will be officially an old rich White guy. Not hating because that has been my goal, to retire as an old rich White guy. Three and a half years and I am there!

One little piece of trivia Chevy has collaborated with Ferrari on Ferrari cars in the the past and present. If I am not mistaken, the Ferrari brake system was engineered by GM.

2021 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 - but not sure where the Italian is in a porsche..
only because there was a mention of GT4...

cv129 01-31-2022 12:16 PM

Don’t think it’s the new Z…..

Part Italian….man are we talking about 1/100th Italian or for real “I look and feel and eat like Italian”?

Oh I really miss the little VW TDI wagon. The way turbo diesels are, the tidal wave of torque in the low rpm, makes for great fun while being the complete opposite to the Z.

Man I really missed the mark on my guesses huh…:roflpuke2:

Rusty, are you being serious about the GT4RS? I didn't follow the entire thread, but I only ask because there was another member who made a post about that ship with all the porsches on it. I'm just not sure if you are joking and referencing to that post, or if you actually had the one GT4RS on it...

I think Rusty is sending the salted GT4RS to Singer and commissioning 1 of 1 GT4RS Targa now...plus a side order of octopus sashimi. :rofl2:

SeeThruHead 03-02-2022 10:30 AM

That's the best vehicle that motor comes in. Gorgeous. Are you going to overland with it in place of the RV?

No. We got rid of the Grand Cherokee and the Power Wagon. The Gladiator will be a DD and mini Power Wagon.

Rjk370z 03-02-2022 12:14 PM

My neighbor just picked up a Gladiator aswell. Are you guys paying over sticker? Crazy market out there!

aaahhhhh....for the whole time, I thought you still had the Power Wagon, so I completely ruled out any sort of pickup style vehicles or any diesel.

Glad you laid the GT4 thing to rest. There was that 1% chance that I still cling onto. Now I am in peace.

I got it for 1% under. Used the Tread Lightly program.

Spooler 03-02-2022 02:27 PM

Sucks that the rust belt ate up your Power Wagon.

You should some of them on the Gladiator forum. 40" tires are almost mandatory.

old guy 03-02-2022 07:24 PM

Since the old power wagon rusted, are you considering an under coating on this one?

I had it undercoated. But didn't follow through with taking it back in for touch ups. Where it rusted is where the front tire throws up a **** load of rocks.

Have an appointment next week with Ziebart for undercoat. Planning on following through with the touch ups. Going in for LineX bed liner too.

I'm headed to this event on Saturday:

https://southeastoverlandoffroadexpo.com/

Getting my Commander Hemi more and more looking like that Gladiator pic with all the Overland goodies.
