Thanks guys it does look amazing. Unfortunately something went wrong in ECU wiring car not starting up :( need to register the car as can't wait to drive it.

I will post some pics next week but full car pics only after whole is done some nice parts going in will kill the surprise. There are some features and photoshoots pending so it will be exciting

As I said earlier when the shop was doing wiring i sent crank covers and intake manifold for polishing, so today everything came back and was installed along with coil pack and camgear covers in carbon fiber

Got this long time back today installed it

Compared to Chinese Nismo one

http://i826.photobucket.com/albums/z...ps90d0128f.jpg

Replaced

http://i826.photobucket.com/albums/z...ps37dc7365.jpg

Custom radiator cooling plate not liking it much but will fix it later maybe cut in half and some more bends, was done in aluminium then chrome plating.

http://i826.photobucket.com/albums/z...psdfd3dcde.jpg

Got aluminium covers for headers and turbo plate and removed the stock ones

http://i826.photobucket.com/albums/z...ps27c1f378.jpg

Coolant overflow tank custom made according to the body curves in aluminium

http://i826.photobucket.com/albums/z...ps012b9848.jpg

Chrome cam covers with coil pack cover in carbon fiber

http://i826.photobucket.com/albums/z...psf7624a00.jpg

Cam gear cover changed to the carbon one, some changes were required as cover was for series 1 and Neo is slightly different.

http://i826.photobucket.com/albums/z...ps0e702fe5.jpg

Intake manifold installed

After the wiring got the car on dyno (AWD Mustang) but couldn't go above 230-240whp, coils start misfiring, but did the tune and car is running perfect now, pushing around 215-220whp on 5psi. Will change the stock coils, plugs and do a retune after a month or so.

Did a quick cleaning job, all left now is to check the brakes as pressure is very low even after 1 inch willwood brake master cylinder

Installed some generic pedals

http://imageshack.us/a/img6/6243/img4673r.jpg

Will install Nardi after all the mechanical work, interior is all set now

such an amazing build , love all the work in progress documentation of images.. I'm very inspired to build one of these someday! ;D

docaam 01-20-2013 11:17 AM

Thanks guy, got the car registration done just before weekend will be getting the number plates in few days and then hopefully on the road for the first time. Cant wait to drive it, drove it briefly but the alignment was totally out and felt like driving a boat.

Some small pieces are there to install will finish all by weekend. Then PHASE I is over ;)

docaam 01-26-2013 01:07 PM

Installed the Nardi steering wheel to finish it off the interior some little things pending though

http://i826.photobucket.com/albums/z...psc8a2264c.jpg
http://i826.photobucket.com/albums/z...ps0eb6e9ce.jpg

Some pictures i took, car was a bit dirty though.

http://i826.photobucket.com/albums/z...ps51e3a4eb.jpg
http://i826.photobucket.com/albums/z...psf922984c.jpg

After driving some issues are coming up, like

1. Brakes not taking enough pressure
2. Some heat coming from from the gearbox opening
3. Clutch pedal needs a bit of alignment
4. Exhaust is too low might need working on gearbox mounting and move the exhaust up
5. Steering rod had some problem during alignment time running -1.7 camber on one end and -1.1 on other will be fixed soon

Coils, some trunk emblem, speedo GPS module and fuel sender are on order will be replaced next week. Apart from this car drives very nice suspension if a bit stiff i guess will loosen up after some driving.

axmea? 01-26-2013 01:20 PM

Very nice work. This and your old red........

jdmlove 01-27-2013 01:07 AM

u should be proud of your creations doc!

why you dont lower it little more in front? it will look better IMO!! except if the exhaust down pipe is holding you from lowering it more!!

Down pipe ishardly 3 inches above the ground. Its routed outside the gear mouting will be making a new mount with a loop for the pipe so hopefully can move the pipe 3-5 inches up. At the back also sway bar is blocking some space so exhaust is low.

Once all is done will slam the car as I used MR2 struts as they can let you lower more then the stock S30 struts with ground control coils

Mr&Mrs 01-27-2013 01:05 PM

Im in looooooooooooooove! I can never get enough of this car.
