Strange, seems newer cars dont get ice mod, but I do have the ABS grabbing my calipers when pulling a lot of G's.. I will remove disconnect the yaw sensor

Strange, seems newer cars dont get ice mod, but I do have the ABS grabbing my calipers when pulling a lot of G's..
I will remove disconnect the yaw sensor too. My rear camber arm failed at the back of Phil's hill so my car is down at the moment...

Well I think we've boiled it down to this. The more you get ice mode, the more it wears out your ABS pump. The more worn out your ABS pump is, the more likely you are to trigger ice mode again. So I don't think its the age of the car so much as it is how many times you've experienced ice mode. I started tracking my Z in early 2009 and didn't hit ice mode until mid-2010 after probably 10 track weekends. Then after I started hitting it, it just kept getting more and more easily triggered. Completely goes along with the above theory of the worn out pump. And because mine is so bad, I am iffy on whether or not this vacuum canister will help enough.

If you haven't hit it yet, then I would highly recommend getting the vacuum canister so you better your chances of never hitting it.
