I had my first track day last week, and during a hairpin type turn, the gas would be inresponsive for about 1-2 secs when the car is now straightened out.

I had my first track day last week, and during a hairpin type turn, the gas would be inresponsive for about 1-2 secs when the car is now straightened out. Would this be the cause of fuel starvation? or the VDC as i am a noob and dont have the balls to run without it yet?
